Retail industry is becoming more organized though the percentage is still not a
large one to be boasted about. Though all the large business houses of India
has already joined the league of organized retail, still there is plenty of

generation in joining their family business of retailing, new demographic and
sociographic profile of Indian consumer which resulted in changes in their
preference towards retail shop that they would like to visit for buying
different necessities etc. .
